This is a relaxing retreat for Chinese students & scholars designed to provide for your spiritual growth. The retreat is also designed to accomodate and encourage family time.
We will also enjoy stimulating seminars during the morning and evening sessions that will relate to all levels of spiritual experience - from those who are just considering the reality of God's existence to those who are growing in a relationship with God. Other highlights will be the small group discussions and times of inspirational music. All sessions will be in Mandarin.
Returning for her third year is Dr. Li Wen Hammer. Dr. Hammer will be directing music. She will also be leading small group sessions on parenting and for those who are single she has a special session on how to find theperfect mate. Dr. Hammer is a consultant at DeCortiis Erhard, Inc. in Colorado Springs, Colorado with a PhD in human development and family studies. She is married and has two beautiful children.
Afternoons will be set aside for recreation time. Sightseeing tours to see the magnificent mountain carvings of Mt. Rushmore and the beautiful geologic formations & wildlife in Custer State Park are all included in the conference cost. If you prefer to stay at the camp and relax, the camp offers pingpong, badminton, fishing (license required), basketball, and more!.Nursery, children's programs and teen activities will be provided during the morning and evening meeting sessions so that you and your family can receive the maximum benefit from the retreat.
Those who attend will enjoy the delicious meals prepared by local churches and Rapid City Chinese restaurants.
